I'm feeling better now :)

Okay la, i wasn't kicking up a big fuss over nothing, but i will work harder. I kinda figured out what went wrong, and will try harder in future, i guess we all have our ups and downs. It's really a down down period now, but i will work harder to bring everything up! BB says he'll support me and that we should keep on trying till at least CNY!

Without this down period we wouldn't sit down to reconsider our priorities and how we can further lower our cost price. I love bb.

Once exams end i'm gg to launch a hugeass clearance sale for all my current stocks and hopefully things will be better by then! :)

For now the goal is to study!

I was so stressed i burst out crying today :(

Not because of school........


But because of my shop :( Sales hasn't been good, really terrible in fact, probably the worst ever? I'm not even sure why, business started dropping in September, and we've hit an all time low right now. I spent 24 hours doing up the photos. 24 hours. I can't remember when was the last time i put in so much effort in anything before.

Is it the model? Is it the clothes? Is it the photos? If not, what is it?

After falling down, we must try to pick ourselves up. It isn't the end of the world, although it will feel like it is. If i ever have to end my business, i'll cry very hard, but i'll be practical and down to earth and finish it once and for all, then enter the workforce like every one else does. With a lot of support from him of course. Sorry baby. I've disappointed you.

I was REALLY pissed off the previous blog entry but i'm not anymore because i have better things to be happy and appreciative of in my life, and that includes......

THE 88 EYESHADOW PALETTES that YJ bought for me! Not one, but two, the matte and the shimmer! SO PRETTY!! I smiled at my new babies for like two hours. Will mention more when i furnish this blog with pictures. And two surprise brushes! I'm so going back for more :) I'm learning more about the stuff i like daily, and i'm a little astonished how fast a learner i am. That isn't self praise btw, i might be delusional though :P

I started my revision too, albeit a bit slow (ok make that really slow) but at least i'm getting started :):) Hard to memorise though as i'm quite rusty, i haven't been studying at all :( so i'm just reading through everything first

I'll also be trying to turn in at 1230am every night now after being inspired by a dear friend, since i've been sleeping at 5am daily now and waking up at 2-3pm which i think isn't really good for me.

I might be looking into sources and the entrepreneurship wheels in my mind is churning again. Might be going into selling makeup and brushes if i ever manage to find any, and my skincare shipment is here too so i'm going to test em out before officially selling them with my dear friend (who wishes to be anonymous i think) :)

I don't sound like someone who has exams looming do i?

P.S I also wonder why do i always think about doing business and earning money from the things i like. Do you guys get this too? Pls comment, i'll screen your comment to protect your privacy if necessary

At any period in your life you might bump into idiotic people who are so cocky and full of themselves you will just feel like kicking them in the face. I've met plently.

I was boiling a moment ago from reading what this certain someone wrote. I'm not close to this individual, he/she is such an asshole. -.- Whatever. Can't elaborate more or i'll spill, in the meantime i'm gg to try to moderate my mood as usual, always being angry nowadays, *breathe in....breathe out*

Why do such annoying people exist anyway? Bitch/Bastard.

Today i put some of what i've learnt to practice! :D May not be the best, but it's one of the best i've ever done so i'm quite pleased

I used pastel green on the left, pastel blue in the centre, and purple on the right, followed by midnight blue on the lower right crease area, and a white highlight :) Then i finished off by using fake dolly eyelashes, here you go!

Heipi! Can't wait for my 88 palette to come, so i can experiment with a lot more colours :):)

Hello again everyone!

Well, this week has been a WHOOSH week for me. My mood went up and down at the speed of the rollercoaster, and i'm in between now haha.

Business hasn't been good of late, and i think the places tremendous pressure on both me and YJ so we've been bickering a lot more. I cried today, it was a good cry though because i kinda released all the pent up frustrations i've been feeling inside for a really long time. It's hard to deal with many things, but whenever i think about how so many other people out there are having it worse ( i just spotted an old man crushing aluminium cans by the rubbish dump and i almost went over to pass him some money), it's not that bad after all. Of course, i allow myself to wallow in self pity at times, it's all about moderation you know?

To relieve my stress, i've been doing alot of stress relaxation activities. Just thought i'd share them with you, it might help if you're feeling like you're dying

YOUTUBE is probably one of the best internet things that ever happened, as far as i'm concerned

1. YOUTUBE: Listening to music/watching MTVs and singing along to them, XFACTOR
I laughed my ass off at KEN LEE - a really lousy version of mariah's carey's without you. Uh, yes, she's supposedly singing english. I figured out this was more entertaining than ris low's "BOOMZ". Watch it! it's like one minute of your time only :)




2. YOUTUBE: Watching makeup gurus do their thing and learning more about makeup and all the technical aspects such as brushes yada yada. Watching beauty programmes like Nu Ren Wo Zui Da. Learning more about skincare, makeup, beauty, hair, etc. It's educational in another way, so stop calling me superficial (directed to idiotic people who only think that discovery channel is educational, for your info i watch that too, just less). I save alot more money by learning from these shows in fact, and to take better care of my health and personal hygience, yes!

For instance, do you know what is stippling? I just learnt today :D It gives you an airbrushed look!


3. Reading beauty & makeup blogs: it's amazing how makeup transforms people and bring out their natural beauty and confidence level. I love it! I hope to be a guru myself someday, so i'm still learning :) It's one of my childhood dreams to become a nail/makeup artist. Well, even though i've also wanted to be a fireman/teacher/doctor/laywer/postman. But the current me is very attracted to beautiful and colourful things :)

Michelle Phan is my current fave makeup guru. I started reading her blog about 2 or more years ago, way before she became famous. Her videos rock and she is so stunningly beautiful :) There are about a zillion more out there that i discovered lately and i can spend hours watching their videos!

And YJ is the sweetest. He knows i'm learning makeup and loves experiementing with colours so he bought me two sets of 88 coastal scents palette. A matte one and a shimmer one. It's an amazing palette that i will share more when it comes. Apparently the pigmented colours are comparable to those from MAC. I've been eyeing it for like....1 year? :) But always afraid i'll waste it if i don't use it (yes i've been more thrifty and less impulsive now), and i'm gg to make sure i'll put it to good use after i get it




Gorgeous isn't it? Looking at it lifts my spirits up already! They're pretty much the same, just that one is matte, and one is shimmer. Matte is more suitable for studio/flash photography as shimmer ones might not look as nice if not done correctly. Bought some new brushes too, i want to start learning something if my dream of becoming a makeup artist is going to even come close :) Wish me luck!

And one great news: FEL IS COMING BACK. O-M-G. Better than striking toto :D

How i look like now :P I put on like 15kg after going to bangkok 4 times in a year haha. But it's okay, i'm going to diet again soon! Yj's photography is improving :D Finally he doesn't take a photo of me looking frumpy.
