I've been totally into hanging out with fel since she's been back ( we meet like EVERY SINGLE DAY it's not even funny).

I'm really into the whole cars and camera stuff, i'm not sure, maybe i am bipolar lol. Lately fel has been wanting a DSLR so i've been giving her advise to my best layman knowledge, and she bought a Canon1000d!

So i was really checking out the Leica D lux 4 as well as the Panasonic Lumix LX3 that everybody's been raving about, the supposedly semi pros with DSLR quality images. When i voiced my interest to get a semi pro, YJ violently objected. After a little more probbing, i found out that he wanted to get the panasonic lx3 for me as my christmas present!!!! AND I SQUEALED like a little girl/pig in delight. HAHA

But seriously. I haven't been using my poor digi cam canon ixus 860 to it's maximum quality :( I went online to google pictures taken with it and everyone takes awesome pictures except me. I suck. So i'm gonna WORK ON IT instead of relying on the "auto" mode as all lazy people too. LOL. Until then, the panasonic lumix shall be placed on hold :) Or should i get it?

But if i get it, i'll have two canon digicams, a semi pro, and a DSLR. What am i gonna do with all that cameras!?

Life sucks because i have to deal with it.

Met up with fel to catch up on alot of talking! We went shopping and i found a new love: SEPHORA. *eyes sparkle with delight* She was so sweet to buy me a shu uemura warm palette!! Loves! We talked about a lot of stuff, serious ones too, and stuff that got me thinking.

I feel so old and drained. I'm not sure if it's because of my reflective nature, perhaps overly reflection nature. Alot of emotional burden buried deep within my heart. I'm so tired that i'm even too tired to share :( Because the story never ends.

Today i went out with YS after gaining freedom from exams :)

We all know MAC cosmetics, and i often wondered whether it was overhyped, but hey what do you know, sometimes there is a reason why people get excited about certain stuff and they are so expensive, they probably ARE good you know. It doesn't mean that other things aren't good, though, so get stuff that fits your budget!

I've been into eyeshadows lately and tried out a lot of looks so far with my 88 palettes bought by bb. I love em :) After my interest in makeup kicked in, everyone online said brushes are very important for creating looks so i wanted to start a brush collection. YS bought for me a MAC 239 eyeshadow brush for my birthday this year, and i love it! :):)

It may sound retarded and annoy you sometimes how people use numbers like Mac 239 brush or Mac 224 brush to compare or to tell you stuff like their skin colours (eg. Oh my skin tone is a Mac 235) when you don't own the products or am familiar with them, but i do realise how it is much easier for me to relate to after i made effort to remember which is which. I'm glad i bothered to learn.



I will try to not be part of those annoying crowd but adding in more descriptions of the brushes instead of just using their numbers :P

So my very first purchase was a M.A.C brush cleanser, that cost $18SGD, for a huge bottle, and boy it's good :):) Makes cleaning brushes such a breeze now, and sterilizes them too! Full marks!

I decided to go for a second purchase then today!

#1 Planned buy at MAC
Lately i've started to get myself alot more exposed to makeup products/blogs/videos, and after hearing so many people rave about mac, i find myself starting to like it too! I headed to mac today after seeing this awesome review on the STYLE BLACK MINERALIZE EYESHADOW COLLECTION from M.A.C, and omg, i didn't even realise that mac products were so popular!

Well, actually i did, but not SOOOOO popular! The mac people told me a lot of their stuff get sold out within a week, in a day even for some of them, people actually queue up to wait for the launch. SERIOUS!? I was actually really disappointed i didn't get what i want after waiting for so long. See why they are so beautiful - STYLE BLACK mineralize eyeshadow series from MAC:

#2 PLANNED BUY
Planned to get a Mac 217 eyeshadow blending brush to blend out harsh lines for eyeshadows since i'm using a lot of my palette but was instead recommended a Mac 224 eyeshadow blending brush, because the Mac 224 is more tapered (i'm not sure what's the word again) and it's better than the Mac 217 eyeshadow blending brush for creating looks the easier way.

I ended up getting neither a regular sized 217 nor 224 brush, but tadah!!!

Reason why i bought this: Cuz i'm Giam Siap HAHA. I wanted to save money since i was intending to get the 129 blusher brush and 227 fluff brush in the near future and i was SHOCKED to find out that the both of them alone already cost $130. I am now thinking if i should get the 224 brush set (i won't get to use the other brushes in the set) and keep the 224, then sell off the other brushes, or just buy the 224 blending brush regular itself at $60.

Was actually super duper tempted by the eyeshadows too but i resisted the temptation since darling already bought me 196 colours. LOL.

I'm officially a MAC convert now and will start paying more attention to their products :) In future all my friends will have an easier life getting me gifts, just get me vouchers from MAC haha!

HAPPY! *jumps for joy* That's my christmas present to myself this year, and i wanted to share my joy :) I like mac too also because they are environmentally friendly, bring back two of their bottles and you get a discount. I have always asked YJ what i should do with my empty skincare products and he says to throw them away even though i insist on recycling them -.- Are you a mac fan too?

Edit: I've been smiling at my brushes and patting them HAHA YJ thinks i'm crazy. They totally made my day! Although i just found out online that people think holiday set brushes aren't comparable to the regular full sized ones because they're mass manufactured :( I don't want to regret my purchase :(
